Is Airtrek a chatbot?

No. Airtrek is an immersive history experience. Characters are arranged in small groups with distinct perspectives, relationships, and blind spots. You talk with them inside their world, not to a single all-knowing narrator.

Are the characters real historical people?

No. Characters are creative reconstructions of types of people who plausibly lived in each era, built from historical research. They are not a substitute for primary sources. See /historical-accuracy for how we handle evidence and uncertainty.
